Validation process
After you complete the easee online eye test, the data is sent to an optometrist at ease for validation. From the data, the optometrist will detect the current visual acuity, the needed correction, and evaluate the reliability of the test. The optometrist needs to compare the test results to your current prescription in order to make sure that there are no significant changes. Often, drastic changes may feel uncomfortable in new eye wear and can be signs of eye conditions that should be checked in person with a specialist .
In some cases, the optometrist needs extra information from you to be sure of the accuracy of the prescription. The optometrist will email you with additional questions if there are any concerns about health issues or eye conditions that may be affecting your results. The optometrist needs to be sure that it is safe to give you a prescription.
