Vote for easee as the best health innovation startup of the Netherlands

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re nominated for the National Health Innovation Award (Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs)! Easee overtook 4 other contestants in the preliminary rounds and now we need you to vote for us at the national finals!

On 24 January, during the National E-Health Week 2019, Yves Prevoo, CEO and Founder of easee pitched the online eye test to a jury at the regional preliminary round of the health innovation award at the ahti centre in Amsterdam. Very interesting companies competed for a ticket to the finals at this year’s Health Valley Event 14 March and a chance to improve healthcare with technology.

Interesting solutions in the competition

Telemonitoring for heart-patients, a service that offers psychotherapy remotely, a portable heartmonitor and a TV-application that helps patients with dementia have a homey feeling when they live in a new home for the elderly – these four concepts competed against the easee online eye test at the regional stage. In the end, easee won the jury award and DiSofa Online Therapy could carry home the audience award – or wildcard – so both can go on to the finals.

Final pitch to make an impact in health care

At the final round, easee is competing with 9 innovative companies who offer a wide variety of products, ranging from printed breast prostheses to a VR-experience to fight chronic pain. Once again, it’s possible for the public to vote as well, and this time not only attendees in the room can participate, but just everyone can simply vote online.
